- AntivirusExpert 10y agoThanks for the feedback! These are not our tests, these are tests performed by av-test, virusbulletin, etc. Currently there are only a few tests for ClamAV, all done by AV-Test during 2015-2016 and all are for MacOS. When ClamAV goes through a few more tests, it will be included in our results tool as well. (Here: https://bestantivirus.reviews/tools/test-results-calculator https://bestantivirus.reviews/tools/test-results-calculator) If you're interested in the ClamAV test results for MacOS, here are the original tests performed by AV-Test: https://www.av-test.org/en/news/news-single-view/mac-os-x-under-attack-10-security-packages-put-to-the-test/ https://www.av-test.org/en/news/news-single-view/mac-os-x-un... https://www.av-test.org/en/news/news-single-view/more-security-for-mac-os-x-13-security-packages-put-to-the-test/ https://www.av-test.org/en/news/news-single-view/more-securi... https://www.av-test.org/en/news/news-single-view/12-security-suites-for-mac-os-x-put-to-the-test/ https://www.av-test.org/en/news/news-single-view/12-security... The average scores based on these tests are: Average: 87.9% >Protection: 72.6% >Performance Impact: 92.8% >False Alerts: 98.3% But once again, these are for MacOS, not for Linux users among whom it's extremely popular.
