I agree with what you're trying to express, and was the biggest "be careful not to overdo this". Getting outside your tribe is really healthy and good. I'd phrase it like this: "find the people who are best in the world at what you want to do and learn from them". And then I would add "but get outside of their circle frequently. It will be good for them and you".
