Show HN: Site I quickly made to remind me when to send out invoices
- kyunbit 10y agoAre you planning to create an API for automated billing?
- b4c0n 10y agoNone in the pipeline as of yet... But what's your usecase? I might be inspired enough to start something?
- asidiali 10y agoWe're working on our public billing API over at BillTo (https://bill.to https://bill.to). Our beta product currently allows you to integrate Stripe to bill customers within seconds, and we'll be opening up the API before Q2 for anyone to automate their billing with our backend. Would love to chat and see how we can help with your specific use case.
- gogopuppygogo 10y agoI like the name. The website leaves a lot of questions unanswered.
- b4c0n 10y agoThanks, I'm still working on a much better landing / about page... Stay tuned!
- MatthewWilkes 10y agoDo people really pay a percentage to other invoicing tools? I've been very happy with QuickBooks at £15/month and that's much more than an invoice generator. Even the smallest, £6/month one gets you invoicing as well as expense management.
- b4c0n 10y agoDepends, I won't throw dirt around but the old invoicing software I used to use took a (albeit ridiculously small) percentage cut instead of a monthly fee, and the whole platform was entirely free forever.
- gogopuppygogo 10y agoShopify does this for ecommerce as did Stagebloc before they were acquired by FullScreen.
