Did they actually say: "we have emails from both parties, however we will only release the democrat ones because we hate NATO"? or did someone just speculate that this is the case.
I don't know how much you know about hacking. It's next to impossible to track down a skilled hacker, if he didn't make a mistake, especially one that is supported by a country. It could have been a hacker from Saudi Arabia using a Russian proxy. It could have been a Ukrainian hacker doing it from a Russian coffee shop.
If US intelligence did in fact determine that it was a Russian hack without the hacker making a mistake, then I would be worried about how they did it instead.

- voidr 10y ago> That's a very condescending tone. It's writing, it has no tone, you can associate whatever tone you want with it. What I implied was that I am unsure how familiar are you with the technicalities of hacking so I will not go into too many details. If you have a very deep knowledge on the subject and want to get into it, I'm more than happy to oblige, maybe I'll learn something, however if you are not familiar with it, then there is no point for me to ask more in depth questions, because that would actually be a condescending move. Update to the downvoting mob: you are only proving me right by downvoting every comment I make instead of engaging in a discussion. You are only reinforcing the stereotype about left wingers who just want to silence people they disagree with.
