News is fine.
The problem is that most news business models compete for attention via:
1. alarmist content
2. clickbait headlines
3. polarizing viewpoints
There aren't as many entities who simply try to deliver balanced news and perspectives. Try reading the Economist, apnews.com, wikinews.org.
- Esau 10y agoExactly. I realized during the run-up to the election that CNN and the other major news networks don't really report news anymore - they exploit it.
