As a native Russian speaker, I can't help but notice that the name sounds really close to the Russian offensive word for homosexual people - 'gomik's. Can't say if it's going to negatively affect the product but it's certainly not a good thing. Mitsubishi Pajero is not being sold in the Americas under that name for a reason.

- minikomi 10y agoSounds kind of like ゴミ (Gomi) too -- trash in Japanese.
- anildash 10y agoWe did find that out after launch, as it unfortunately hadn't come up in our searches prior to that. I personally apologize for the offensive name and we'll be directly addressing it soon enough thanks to several Russian speakers who have pointed out the issue. Thanks for bringing it up, and I'm sorry we didn't catch it earlier.
