Does NASDAQ rescinding trades help or hurt confidence in market?

I realize this is out of the normal HN realm, but I'd like to poll folks as to their opinion of the NASDAQ rescinding some of the trades from yesterday. Is this going to help or hurt public confidence in the stock market, or have no affect?
