What's there to discuss?
Not in a sarcastic manner, but seriously what's SourceForge got that Github doesn't provide?
Or is it a matter of just making time for that migration?
- sdegutis 10y agoAnd even then, it seems like 20 minutes worth of work. Not a whole lot to it.
- leirbagarc 10y agoGuys, I got it! More importantly, I didn't post the framework release to make this a discussion "SourceForge vs Github". What's really matter is the project itself and not where it is hosted!
- mishac 10y agoThat's pretty much the point though: the fact of it being on sourceforge distracts from the contents of the project itself and turns every conversation into a "sourceforge sucks" circle jerk. At this point, their reputation is so terrible that even if sourceforge was objectively better, it'd still be a good idea to move away from it.
