I doubt punishing Russia is actually their goal. I think they just want to promote the idea that Russia caused Trump. It's a conspiracy theory that very conveniently exculpates the current crop of DNC insiders whose incompetence and arrogance managed to get him elected.
- toomuchtodo 10y agoIt's an easier pill for the DNC to swallow than that their candidate was terrible. Russia is just convenient to use. Maybe not do things that if documented in emails and released cause you to lose the election for the highest office in the land?
