I live in Tokyo. Will treat you to beer and yakitori if you make it. Good luck with Japanese. People often describe it as one of the hardest languages in the world, and you can understand why: three written systems and grammar and vocabulary that changes based on whom you're speaking to and what it's about. But once you learn the rules (and there are many), there are few exceptions compared to English. So it's a lot of work on the front-end. Don't let that discourage you.
