- LyndsySimon 10y agoThis generally isn't an issue as a carrier unless it can be shown that the carrier was aware (or should have been aware) of the cargo. FWIW, I've dealt with firearms being accidentally shipped to Canada. They were on a freight dock in Toronto before anyone realized. We (the carrier) were levied a fine and we shipped them back to the US without further incident. Being that it was self-reported, they didn't even send someone out.
