I used to skip scribd search results and I won't anymore. This is a million times better. Not just the reader (which is awesome) but the site design itself.

This is a million times better. Not just the reader (which is awesome) but the site design itself. Obviously a lot of thought has gone into it. I really like the way the footer/toolbar behaves when you reach the end of the page.
Well done!
- amalcon 16y agoThis. Very much this. I used to avoid scribd because I didn't want to deal with the flash; now I'll probably favor it because I know I'll get a good layout.
- grinich 16y agoThis is a fine comment and I agree with you, but you might want to avoid the Reddit-speak around here. My guess is that's where the down-votes are from. Here's another case: http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1321795 http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1321795
- amalcon 16y agoEh, I don't really care about downvotes. I don't usually bother to post if all I have to add is an agreement, but this was basically a request for opinions.
