"Recommended" and "Trending" are pretty much useless for me. The "Up next" thing works well for episodic videos, but otherwise, meh. Finding relevant stuff is actually really hard. The best way to find new stuff is when a channel recommends another. And that does scale, but isn't immediate. So I see the point of algorithms, but don't rely on them or force them on me.
