I can use Netflix just fine with Laptop + external monitor on Linux with Chrome, even if I connect the monitor via VGA (just tried it). I only get 720p content

I can use Netflix just fine with Laptop + external monitor on Linux with Chrome, even if I connect the monitor via VGA (just tried it). I only get 720p content that way, though—probably because VGA doesn't exactly have HDCP certification ;)
