Parent said ramping DOWN, which is trivial regardless of weather. Ramping solar UP at night or during cloud coverage is indeed a much more difficult problem :)

- natch 10y agoI agree with what you said, and I would have added: but a less important problem because 1) there are batteries and other forms of storage and 2) consumption is lower at night.
