I used to be quite loyal to AMD (and I'm typically not loyal to any companies), but their latest chips are meh. Their GPUs perform very good in benchmarks, but are buggy and poorly supported otherwise.
- lettergram 10y agoI'd recommend checking out their newest chips (I don't know if they hit market), they seem pretty good, and cheaper than Intel.
- louhike 10y agoI often had a lot problems with the drivers on AMD GPUs. Sometimes it took 2 months to be fixed. Two months during which my laptop heated too much and I was unable to play games and had problems on Youtube.
