So you drive away your biggest draw? In the media-centric view of the world, those people would be asking for a cut of revenues. There's clearly a major disconnect from reality on one side or the other here. Any examples of successful businesses that do it the way you describe?

- sulam 10y agoBillboards work because it's captive traffic. Very few if any sites on the net have captive traffic. Twitter certainly doesn't even in the current model and I think the model you're describing would be even harder to manage in terms of spam and abuse, not to mention coordinating with law enforcement. So likely even less captive.
