How do I get feedback on my MVP in the community?
Hello, my name is Erick Fernandes and I am from Brazil. I am new to the community and I have questions about it .. We would like to test our startup platform for feedback with people here on the forum. Could someone help me? How could this be done? Would I talk about the platform, and then disclose her link here? Thank you very much. Sorry for my English, Brazilian universities stifle students with subjects and would like to have studied more English in 2016.
- iamdave 10y agoA simple post with the title "Show HN: {Product Name}" and a descriptive blurb as a comment seems to be the standard method. Otherwise you basically nailed it; and no worries on the English you did fine :)
- erickfernandes_ 10y agoThanks for the answer! :D
- CarolineW 10y agoMy recommendation is this: Write a description of why I would use it. Concentrate on the problem you are solving, not how you solve it. Provide in your description a link to the solution. Then I can try it out for myself and see if it really is going to solve my problem (assuming I have the problem). Submit here a link to your description with the title: "Show HN: XXXX ..." The "XXXX" should either be the product now, or a short and sharp description of the problem you are solving. Again, focus on the problem, not the solution. Your English as demonstrated in this question is fine. Having said that do make sure you have used a spell-checker just to catch the worst errors that slip through easily. You don't need to be perfect, but if there's something obvious you could have done, but didn't, then some people will be put off. People will disagree with some of the above, but that's what I like to see.
- erickfernandes_ 10y agoGreat idea CarolineW! We will focus our presentation on the problem and then connect the points (where the solution proposed by us can solve this problem).
