I was running an experiment on Facebook using their advertising platform over the past few weeks, and I used the phrase "reputable news source" in the description. I started to get a lot of comments that the only reputable news sources were "Fox News", "Breitbart", and then a litany of obscure conspiracy-theory websites that were pushing #pizzagate and other conspiracies. It totally caught me off guard, even though I know that's where many find their news today. I guess what it taught me is that "reputable" is a fuzzy-term.
