Just checked out the Gigster's onboarding form. The last 2 questions are about the applicant's gender and ethnicity. Is asking stuff like that legal?
And how is that even relevant, given that gigster is about remote work?
- GFischer 10y agoDepends on the country. I had an U.S. manager flip out when I mentioned my age during a remote interview, totally different to here (Uruguay) where it's a normal requirement in the C.V. (along with a photo). I've been told both are huge no-nos in the U.S.
