  However, what about stories that target what you, the not yet entrepreneur, hope to become? If you look closely, most of the efforts against the "rich" are actually against those trying to become "rich", not the already very wealthy who have the politician power and otherwise many options (e.g. negotiate a tax treaty with a canton and move to Switzerland) to avoid such exactions. Throughout many decades of various economic conditions, tax policies, etc. how much was the wealth of the Kennedy family threatened? E.g. look at taxes on earnings vs. principle. In the US we do have a big tax on the latter from the estate ("death") tax, although again the wealthy have options to mitigate that.
