Unemployment is not quite going to be half of parent salary. More like 1/5 to 1/3 if they're lucky.
- iopq 10y agoIt's up to half of your previous salary capped up to a certain amount. I actually don't know if my father got half of what he used to earn, but some people that worked for a long time before getting fired or laid off do get half.
