If your tomatos were expensive, dirty, and three-quarters rotten, and the Italians start selling better, cheaper tomatos, are you going to be upset, or rejoice?
Depends on whether you are invested in providing terrible, expensive, mostly rotten tomatos.
- jackvalentine 10y agoTaking the long term view though (and referring back to this article) we would rejoice initially, then realise our folly as the cheap tomatos destroy local industry and alternatives only to inevitably have to put up their prices.
