How is the manner in which the Uber vehicles are being operated any different than an ordinary Tesla owner using the assist features of the Tesla?
- rajathagasthya 10y agoWe don't know if it's different or not. It may well be the same. But Tesla has a permit [1] and Uber couldn't be bothered to apply for one even after receiving a warning from the DMV. This is after Uber publicly announcing that they were testing self driving technology [2]. - sjburt 10y agoThat permit covers Tesla to operate vehicles in an automated mode, not individuals operating Teslas using that various assistance features.
