- dschuetz 10y agoWhy is it even walled?
- ProAm 10y agoBecause real journalism costs money to produce.
- komali2 10y agoIt's blocked behind a registration which is free. How does someone registering for the site get them money?

- tyleraldrich 10y agoGetting your email = you are a "lead" and they will send you marketing emails, hoping to get you to pay for their services.
- bduerst 10y agoThis article specifically isn't free after registration, unless you are a paid subscriber. I think WSJ makes some of their articles free after a week, but I could be mistaken.
- wnevets 10y agoyou consider this real journalism?
- eternalban 10y agoRead: WSJ.com. There is something to the idea that of all establishment journals, the ones that deal with money dish out the more substantial fare. My theory regarding Western press is that the funkier the format and off-white the sheet, the more likely it is actual information packaged in a form to tell the average prol "you don't want to read this funky paper" :)
- floopidydoopidy 10y agoThis isn't journalism, it's an advertisement.
- lisivka 10y agoBecause it's news about M$$$.
- lisivka 10y agoHey, remove that link, please. News about M$ must be paid news.
- mcintyre1994 10y agoFYI there's a 'web' link on HN that does this for you. 107 points by prostoalex 1 hour ago | flag | hide | past | >>>web<<< | 86 comments | favorite
