Is this sarcasm? Most of what she is talking about seems to be in person comments that she couldn't really record but anyway she is just talking about her experience and what she thinks could be done to improve the industry so I'm not sure proof on the specifics that happened to her are necessary
- hrxn 10y agoSarcasm? I wish. It's the sad truth. This is exactly the kind of story I expect on Medium, that's their clickbait, their MO to drive the traffic up. That's all you need to know about it. It's so predictable, I don't know if it's more funny or more sad, actually. And yes, I totally believe every single word of that story. Now that is sarcasm. Look at the choice of words. It's all there, all the buzzwords, all the expected jargon, signalling virtue and belonging to the tribe. People still don't realize this? Really?
