Right, the same number of people who are hijacking ups trucks.
- snrplfth 10y agoOh, I think a few people will try - until they get chased down by "Order Fulfillment Assurance Drones" and carried away to a nearby unregistered warehouse for interrogation.

- kaishiro 10y agoAre you trying to make a point? If so, could you be more clear?
- wehadfun 10y agoSure! The comment I replied to, seems to imply that hijacking UPS trucks is a non-existent, or rare event. A simple Google Search seems to indicate that it happens all the time. There for making the original OPs concern somewhat valid.
- hellogoodbyeeee 10y agoYour definition of "all the time" includes two news stories in the last year?
- wehadfun 10y agoIf you honestly think that only 2 UPS trucks were hijacked last year based on my post then there is no reason for me to reply to you.
- vkou 10y agoEvery year, without fail, there are people in the world who are killed by goats. This doesn't mean that I need to worry about goat attacks.
- wehadfun 10y agoYour logic is off. If you spend a lot of time around goats then worrying about a goat attack is valid. Similar to how people in North Dakota do not worry about hurricane but people in the Florida Keys do.

- skinnymuch 10y agoAre you not greatly exaggerating with "all the time"?
- hellogoodbyeeee 10y agoHow many UPS trucks are on the road on any given day? How does that number compare to your five news stories over the last five years?
- wehadfun 10y agoYou know that more than 5 UPS trucks have been hijacked in the last 5 years so I don't know why you are asking me for such a silly comparison. I have no proof but I would guess amount of people that will [Hijack a UPS truck] < [Shoot down a drone].
- lightbyte 10y agoConsidering shooting down a drone would be a federal crime I can't imagine more people would be willing to do it when compared to robbing a truck.
- wehadfun 10y ago@lighybyte I think UPS truck hijackers are motivated, violent criminals. A couple of dumb teenagers, armed with a potato gun would probably shoot at a drone just for the hell of it + criminals + overly protective property owners
- cmbuck 10y agoHave you ever tried to hit a drone-sized target with a potato gun? Do you realize how challenging that is?
- truth_sentinell 10y agoI think the comparison between robbing a truck and a drone is naive at best. Would you consider the same robbing a truck, probably threatening the driver at gun point, being seen by him, to grabbing a package from the claps of a drone?
