I hate this braindead nonsense so much. What if you're NOT in the workplace? Does everything important or non-interruptible only ever happen at a workplace? What if you're a high-schooler presenting your final project to your teacher for grading or something? What if you're in the middle of watching a movie with your family?
- EasyTiger_ 10y agoYou don't seriously expect to have any form of control over a consumer OS, do you? What do you think this is, Linux? How very dare you!
- nimish 10y agoSet active hours and keep your machine updated quickly or don't use Windows 10 consumer editions. Or use Linux/OS X. Forcing updates is the correct choice for consumers otherwise Microsoft gets blamed for their compromised machines, so it makes sense for them, and I don't blame them.
- cardiffspaceman 10y agoThis is badly implemented appliance thinking. Other appliances have forced updates that are tested and that don't interfere with the users' lives.
