I can't remember who recommended "The Strategy of Conflict" to me, but it's an incredible read -- for people with or without a background in game theory or international relations. It shows how important commitment is, how powerful it can be to have your hands tied. Very highly recommended. I hope fans of Schelling will meet up to celebrate his passing together (at a time and place not agreed upon beforehand.)
