The data was corrupted on storage. It was lost. Then when switching over to the backup hardware it got corrupted too. No taxpayer's private data was compromise

The data was corrupted on storage. It was lost. Then when switching over to the backup hardware it got corrupted too. No taxpayer's private data was compromised though, since third parties can not compromise the data because it is corrupted.
