- RandomOpinion 10y agoDidn't even bother to look at the maps, did you? Some of those bases are inside territorial waters allotted to the the Philippines by UN rules, within spitting distance of the main Phillippine islands, and also within easy striking range of Malaysia and Brunei. - Chris2048 10y agoYes, I did look t the map. The South China Sea is near China. The context of this thread is "China taking over" meaning venturing a lot further from its borders.
