Best way to spread smartphone app?
I have created a game for smartphones. It is in the testing phase and I plan to release early next year.
Besides emailing all my friends, what is the best way to spread it? Is it OK to post a thread here? What about on reddit and other sites?
If there is I suppose everyone else uses it as well so you drown in the competition anyway?
- jetti 10y agoYou can post here using the Show HN. As for Reddit, I find that /r/SideProjects is a decent place to show your stuff. It isn't as popular as /r/startups but it is a place to show your work without the taboo
- testakumen 10y agoThanks. What do you mean with "the taboo"? What taboo is there?
- testakumen 10y agoDo people tend to post negative reviews to the Google Play Store or just give feedback in the thread? I want feedback in the thread and positive reviews in the Google Play Store but I don't want to get a lot of downvotes in the Google Play Store right away.
