You might want to be careful with intentionally publicizing encrypted data, since it might only be secure for a limited time. Computation becomes cheaper over time (making brute force more feasible) and new vulnerabilities in the encryption algorithm can be found.

- twitchax 10y agoThat is definitely one interesting thing about keybase.io: it does not provide forward secrecy in its encryption tools. However, I think it is an interesting concept for identity proofs.
