Very strange though. I've had no problem getting advance RMA's on Nexus devices before. I call them, they give me an RMA number and just ship me a new phone with a box and label to ship the old one back. That's the best kind of service in my book. I guess this problem looks a lot like user damage though. Unless it's a widespread issue, might be hard to convince them otherwise.
