An eon ago, when I was 14, I found out about Moore's Law and computers. I remember writing a Basic program on an Apple II to calculate the results for different years in the future. I boggled at the numbers that came out for these decades, and I am still amazed that it's all kept pace, more or less. I should see if I still have the program somewhere in storage.
