What I'd like to see happen is a relaxation in the laws for private investing. I didn't know, but those with a net worth of $1-2.5 million had been burned in scams, so accredited investor status may or will be raised in terms of net worth. I think the law should be changed so that at least 1 investor has to be accredited at the new level, but the rest do not. Or, one's required worth is contingent on what one actually plans to invest.
