- tunesmith 10y agoHijacking was pretty different back then, which is why passengers were used to the idea of staying uninvolved and not escalating things. That's part of why 9/11 was just a (culturally) unimaginable shift, it wasn't really in the gestalt that a hijacker's main goal was other than to kill/die.
- JshWright 10y agoYeah, 9/11 could work exactly once (and even then, it only in three out of four concurrent attempts attempts)
