I used to work at the desk in my bedroom. I now work from a rented shared office 20 minute walk from where I live. The lure of a nap at 2.30pm was too much to resist. I still work at home a lot of the time, but I prefer the strict divide between 'work' and 'home' that the office affords me. It is also a place to store all the extraneous hardware I seem to have accumulated - Anyone want a HP Compaq 9020 laptop? :)
