Yes, because [smart] pointers, memory [de]allocation and all that stuff is just as easy as "new Object()" and forget the rest. Not to mention the Java collections library vs. STL.
- rodorgas 10y agoIt means that Java is easier, not that C++ will be easy when you mastered Java. On the other hand, if you know C++, learning Java is easy. So IMO it's not a valid reason for a Python dev learn Java over C++
