- richfnelson 10y agoSure, that's how we think here. But the suits will see it differently.
- soneil 10y agoThe name would be something of a poisoned chalice if they can't fulfil existing orders. They've bought the parts that are worth something. They haven't bought the liabilities. It seems like a pretty obvious move, in that cold light.
- WorldMaker 10y agoIt might not be Fitbit's call depending on how the bankruptcy was structured. From reading between the lines of the post, it sounds like Fitbit is onboarding much of the staff but maybe didn't pay for (or was unable to pay for) some or all of the IP.
