Is it better though? Honest question. I thought the same as you first. So much so, that i thought it was a joke at first (not being negative, fwiw). I figured it was a cheeky poke at webapps. So yea, i'll have to look into this to see what the fuss is, at the moment i don't understand. With that said, if it can create mobile apps with Native components, i'm interested. Mobile development sucks atm, and at work we're in need of native component mobile apps (or at least, i think we do). So i'm always looking for new options :)
