- Bartweiss 10y agoThere are a bunch of studies showing that you get weird market distortions at regulatory "cliffs". The classic example is that a company with 49 workers might see marginal profit from a 50th worker, but would suddenly hit the health insurance cutoff. Since insuring all 50 workers is expensive, the value of hiring one more person is massively negative. ...does this happen with B2B software pricing? Jira probably isn't expensive enough, but are there lots of companies doing elaborate limbo to keep their user count for a service just under a pricing threshold?
