Is there a legitimate reason for executives to have access to this level of personal data? I wouldn't expect a bank VP to be able to access my personal bank accounts and would (naively?) assume there were safeguards in place to prevent this kind of abuse and fraud.
On a tangent, does anyone know what GIS stack Uber uses for storing, analysing, and displaying their data?
- arsenico 10y agoThey use mapbox and a lot of their own proprietary stuff on top of it - based on deck.gl and D3. For the more complex GIS - no idea
- afandian 10y agoYour bank operates under strict regulations. The modus operandi of Uber has been to seek market opportunities by breaking regulations. Those things seem obviously to be in conflict.
