- StanislavPetrov 10y agoPut your phone in a Faraday cage for a few minutes after you get out of an Uber. Cases cost less then $10 on Amazon.
- newscracker 10y agoAnd risk being out of reach for everyone else too for that duration? And what if the person forgets to take it out of the case after the five or so minutes? I believe this will cause a lot of panic among people who're trying to reach the Uber rider, especially if the rider is a woman. There have been instances of assault and worse by drivers in some places.
- r00fus 10y agoYeah, that's a dark pattern. It should default to not tracking me after the ride is done.
