I wonder if some "AI Gen 3.0" machine learning / cognitive machine system could have caught this, without human intervention? I just yesterday attended a presentation by a ex NSA guy (who's of course pitching his company Adatos, so grain of salt) who claims you could feed the raw data in and the pattern will be found.
