If anything, the notice was excessive (six months) - so it's been challenging to search for a new position as we won't be able to start until February 1st (without abandoning our severance packages at least.) Most of us have either lined up something afterwards, or are beginning to search now (I'm still selectively searching for now) - hopefully we all move on to something better!
