Will it actually have an effect on weight gain and health? They've been showing for instance that things like Diet Coke actually don't help people lose weight, b/c of many other factors in the way the body responds to fake sugars.
Will this be similar?
- antidaily 10y agoNo.
- em3rgent0rdr 10y agoI wouldn't be surprised if people just start eating more of this chocolate because it is perceived as less unhealthy, thus negating the health benefits.
- CoryG89 10y agoGenerally the reasons they think that these diet drinks don't help you lose weight is because they believe the artificial sweeteners used will effect you in some way that sugar doesn't cancelling out any other benefits it has. Presumably, they won't be replacing this reduced sugar with an artificial sweetener.
- bkmartin 10y agoGenerally, people who switch from regular to diet soda only lose a pound or two when all things are considered. The research has shown that the big deal with switching is that you stop gaining weight.
