  I think a lot of voters didn't take her as seriously on the proposal.

    I think a lot of voters found it impossible to take Clinton seriously on _any_ proposal she was making. The naked pandering and secret agendas were much too obvious. Trump too was nakedly pandering. He was just better at it and had a more receptive base for it. He was better at keeping his agenda secret as well. Does anybody have a clear idea about what his administration policies will really be?
