I don't think it is correct to get the expected value of suicides using the national average. College-educated people employed at a high paying job living in Seattle may be much less likely to kill themselves. (Making some assumptions about the person who attempted suicide). (Disclaimer: I completed an Internship at Amazon and I am returning for a second one)
