By that reasoning they are currently much less likely to bite the hands of all of their corporate advertisers.
Is a broadcasting company that's accountable to private corporations really preferable to one that's accountable to the public?
- josho 10y agoThat's easily solved by securing their funding for several years into the future (possibly to the next government). That way the government can't retaliate for any hard hitting journalism.
